Cursor.

One link adds the server; Cursor asks you to sign in.

Add to Cursor#

Add metasearch.sh to Cursor. Cursor shows the server and asks you to install it. Then open Settings, MCP, and choose Connect next to metasearch: a metasearch.sh page opens where you sign in, pick the organisation that pays, and allow access.

Or add it to the configuration by hand:

~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in a project)
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "metasearch": {
      "url": "https://metasearch.sh/mcp"
    }
  }
}

A project file is shared with everyone who opens the project; each person signs in for themselves.

With an API key#

For the Cursor CLI in CI, or to skip the sign-in, read a key from the environment:

~/.cursor/mcp.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "metasearch": {
      "url": "https://metasearch.sh/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer ${env:METASEARCH_API_KEY}"
      }
    }
  }
}

The tools and prices are on the MCP server page.
